We look for the best places in Brussels according to LGBT+ role models. During this live "staycation", we have interesting talks, encounters, we watch queer artists perform and we challenge you to get out of your comfort zone.
Each day ends with a DJ set from Bo Meng. We invite the arts platform Xeno- for this project.
We gaan samen op zoek naar de leukste Brusselse plekjes volgens LGBT+ rolmodellen. Tijdens deze live ‘staycation’ zal Match ook interessante ontmoetingen aangaan, performances van queer artists tonen in de stad en iedereen uitdagen uit om uit hun comfort zone te komen.

Why do we organize Rainbow Holiday?
Covid-19 has caused everyone to change or cancel their vacation plans. That’s a pity for everyone, so we wanted to do something positive and fun. The corona crisis, like any large-scale crisis, hits people who are already discriminated against extra hard. (Women, girls, POCs, LGBTQI’s, people with disabilities,…) In addition, the Brussels Pride could not take place this year. In this way, Match wants to emphasize the rainbows, love, positivity and multicultural diversity in our capital. Connection within the LGBT-community and far beyond is an absolute must if we want to create social change. Now more than ever we need to support each other and amplify each other's voices.
Waarom organiseren we Rainbow Holiday?
Covid-19 heeft ervoor gezorgd dat we allemaal onze plannen moesten wijzigen of cancellen. Dat is jammer, dus wilden we iets positief, tof en ook leerrijk organiseren. De corona crisis zorgt ervoor, zoals elke grootschalige crisis, dat mensen die gediscrimineerd worden, extra hard hierdoor worden getroffen. (Vrouwen, meisjes, BIPOCs, LGBTQIers, mensen met een beperking,…) Ook kon er dit jaar geen Brussels Pride plaatsvinden. Match wil op deze manier de regenbogen, de liefde, positiviteit en de multiculturele diversiteit in onze hoofdstad benadrukken. Verbinding binnen de LGBT-gemeenschap en ver daarbuiten is een absolute must als we maatschappelijke verandering teweeg willen brengen. Nu meer dan ooit moeten we elkaar steunen en elkaars stem vergroten.
